SOP in a Capacity Constrained World

Sales & Operations Planning, or SOP, is a process that ensures that the sales forecast is aligned with production capacity.  Prior to the pandemic, it was pretty widely accepted that operations could adjust capacity, up and down, to match customer demand.  Since the pandemic, much has changed, and operational capacity is largely fixed.  This video provides some thoughts on what to do with SOP in a capacity-constrained world.
